I have 17 years experience in Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Digital Marketing with a focus in Paid Search (SEM or Search Engine Marketing) via Google Ads. Through the years I have worked on accounts for over 45 different companies, including VitaminWorld.com, Netflix, Eharmony, Legalzoom, and United Health Group. How did I get to this point? Let’s review some of my story.
I knew I had a love for technology after receiving my Bachelors in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2002 but I also had a love for business that was brewing behind the scenes. With this mind over the next 5 years I picked up the skills I needed to make my way into digital marketing, which is a great balance of business and technology. My career started at The Search Agency as a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) analyst in 2007, which had me overseeing a team of SEM analysts, analyzing search engine data and creating more efficient automated processes. I then worked at varying marketing agencies such as Vantage Media (now Katch), where I managed an SEM Lead Generation team, and then Vendo, where I helped them start their SEM ecommerce business from scratch. I decided to start Frank Gamboa Consulting because I wanted to create an environment where I could apply my own personalized business methodology while still utilizing the experience I gained at various top agencies. I was also a board member for the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO) Los Angeles Chapter for two years. On the Personal Side
Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Los Angeles has always been the place I call home and the place I come back to. However, my family is from Mexico and they arrived here during the last century. Even though I am often very serious on the business front I have my fair share of hobbies. Being active, video games, dogs, or just enjoying time with friends over a meal are a few of the things I enjoy. Finally, I would like to mention I am also a Christian who seeks to live out my biblical based faith.
